In 1969, two Torquay locals, Alan Green and John Law, turned to making boardshorts in their home garage based on what they saw as a market opportunity. 3. I applied for a job online, how long will it take before I can schedule an interview?
We review all applications for each of the open positions after the application closing date. You should expect to hear from us within two weeks of the closing date if you have been short listed for an interview.
4. How long will you keep my information on file?

We keep all applications on file for six months after receiving them. Our previous applications are the first place we look when we have a new vacancy. If we have an opportunity that we think you may be suited to, we will contact you to begin the interview stage of our recruitment process.

We can only keep your application on our database for a total of six months so if you haven’t heard from us in that time, please send us an updated CV.

Likewise, if you see a position advertised on our website that interests you, make sure you contact us to let us know you’re keen!

5. What should I wear to my interview?
We are a casual company, so feel free to wear jeans! The dress standards at work are flexible, though it is expected that all employees will be appropriately attired in a way that best reflects the Quiksilver brand.
6. Do you have any part time jobs?
Yes, we do have part time positions available. Most of these are located in our Retail Stores or Distribution Centre. You can see all available open positions posted on this website.
7. What if there are no current jobs available that match my skills?
You can still submit your details to us and your information will be stored in the database.
8. Can I make an unsolicited application?
You can make an unsolicited application by answering a few short questions and then submitting your CV. We will then keep your details on file and match it to any suitable positions that become vacant.
9. Do you have job opportunities outside of Australia?
Any new openings outside Australia will be listed on website in the Europe and United States career opportunities section.
10. Does Quiksilver promote from within?
Yes we do! We promote from within whenever possible. If an internal employee is ready for that next step, then they absolutely would be considered for the open position. However, we would like for you to be in your current job for 6 months to a year, before you apply for another position within the company.
11. How do I find out if there are positions available in a specific store?
If you’re interested in working in one of our Retail stores, visit the store and ask to speak with the Manager to present your CV and discuss any current or upcoming opportunities.
